How would you describe what you do? Your practice, your craft, your cash machine?

I am documentary street photographer who has roots in journalism and loves story telling.

Can you tell us where you are from?

All over but mostly New York City.

What does your morning routine look like?

I wake up around 6:30 AM, meditate, eat fruit, drink coffee, do some yoga and pray and then remember there is a pandemic happening which is depressing and try to figure out how to get through the day happily.

Where do you look for inspiration? A place, a person, a book, an action?

The world, the streets, music and people.

What has been the biggest challenge on your journey?

Money, there's never enough.

What's the best advice you've gotten from someone?

"There is no right, there is only how you feel."

Who is someone that has helped you get to where you are now? How were they impactful?

My old boss Arthur Elgort. He taught me so much about light and ways to see and capture people and emotion. He also taught me to not take myself and photography too seriously. He would say "It's fashion, we aren't saving lives. Everything will be fine". Roy De Carava, my photo 101 professor in college who taught me how to print in the dark room and how to really be a street photographer. And my friends who believe in me and my talent. Who push me to keep going even when I don't want to.

Favorite food in LA? Your go-to spot to get cravings satiated? (Tacos, pupusas, kbbq, sushi, thai, etc.)

Im new to LA & there is a pandemic so I eat at home all the time.
