Can you tell us where you are from?
Dublin, Ireland baby!
What does your morning routine look like?
I am living at home with my family at the moment, so it's very rushed. I get up, get washed, try to get enough food together for the day, and then get to the studio. Then I take it a bit more easy, I like to have my breakfast and tea watching various streamers on twitch and then I get started on whatever I need to do that day.
Where do you look for inspiration? A place, a person, a book, an action?
I find a lot of my inspiration through music, loads of my ideas for drawings come to me when I'm listening to songs. I also get inspo from browsing vintage porn magazine archives.
What has been the biggest challenge on your journey?
My biggest challenge to do with my artistic journey has definitely been getting over the urge to self-sabotage and overthink everything. I can get too caught up in what other people expect or want to see, instead of focusing on what I like to make. I still struggle with it a lot but it's getting easier to know that was matters is whether I like something I've made.
What's the best advice you've gotten from someone?
It wasn't a personal piece of advice, but I think about the quote '“The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.” from Albert Camus a lot.
Who is someone that has helped you get to where you are now? How were they impactful?
My partner, Beck, has been the most encouraging and supportive person in my life by far. We've been together through so many huge changes in each other's lives and they have always always been there for me when I needed them, without their constant encouragement and support I really don't think I'd be anywhere close to where I am in my artistic career now.
What are you currently listening to? What's your go-to sexy song?
At the moment I'm listening to Perfume Genius, but my go-to sexy song is disco tits by Tove Lo ;)
What's the last thing you bought with cash?
Bleach and hair dye.
